I used to work for a private investigator, and sometimes the subjects had the funniest names. A few of my favorites were Eileen Over, Chunk Munch, Harry Beaver (named in the 40s when it didn't mean anything bad) and Andre Champagne. lol! I have a friend who named her kid Xochitl. It's pronounced Zo-shee. I thought is was mean, but what can you say? The famous story of course is the old time Texas politico who named his daughters Ima & Youra, when his last name was Pigg!Temeculamomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15170420347753510149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842763.post-69811096428711039462008-07-29T16:20:00.000-07:002008-07-29T16:20:00.000-07:00I don't "meet" many people with the same name as m...I don't "meet" many people with the same name as mine! When I went to the DMV for the first time, the lady typing out my info from the form I filled out, said "How do you spell your name?". So I told her " C-r-i-s-t-i-n-a" and she says "Are you sure?".

Dude, seriously? I might be only 16 but I'm pretty sure I can spell my own name. LOL!

Thanks for entering my giveaway, by the way!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842763.post-4488233114560291312008-07-29T16:17:00.000-07:002008-07-29T16:17:00.000-07:00I want to name our next kid Trygve, pronounced Tri...I want to name our next kid Trygve, pronounced Trigvee. Love it! It means brave victor.
My first son is named AnDrew, pronounced On Drew. He likes it, he is almost 19, so plenty of time to hate it if he was going to.Qtpies7https://www.blogger.com/profile/04612364762900912663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18842763.post-63282145157483966092008-07-28T19:18:00.000-07:002008-07-28T19:18:00.000-07:00No unusual names in our family but I once worked w...No unusual names in our family but I once worked with a girl whose name was Gimlet and her brother's name was Bourbon.
